Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver/guide who will brief you on the 4 Days Flying Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari and then transfer you to a hotel already booked for you either in Kampala or Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on a Kampala City Tour where you will visit a number places including; the Independence Monument, Kabaka’s Palace, Kabaka’s Lake, Rubaga Cathedral, Namirembe Cathedral, Gaddafi Mosque, Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine among others, time permitting. You will be returned to the hotel in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip.
After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked from the lodge in Entebbe or Kampala and taken to Entebbe Airport at 6am for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with Aerolink which takes about 2 hours from Entebbe to Bwindi. The flight to Bwindi saves you time and provides breath-taking panoramic views of Uganda’s great scenery. Upon your arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be received by our driver / guide who will transfer you to a lodge already booked for you. Spend the afternoon relaxing as you look forward to gorilla trekking on the following day. You will have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi after which the driver/guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for pre-trek briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority officials, who will then allocate you a group, with which you will enter the thick forests of Bwindi in search of the Mountain Gorillas. Tracking mountain gorillas can take you from two to six hours depending on where the gorillas spent the previous night. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before returning to the park headquarters. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.
Later in the afternoon, you will take a guided village walk to see the way of life of the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their culture. The village walk is also a great way to support the local community in a direct way, so you might want to carry with you some extra money to help the locals, which is optional and entirely up to you. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Entebbe from Bwindi
You will have an early morning breakfast before embarking on your return to Kampala. The driver/guide will transfer you in time to Kihihi Airstrip to catch your morning or afternoon flight back to Entebbe/Kampala.
