Day 1: Arrival Kigali Airport – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The 3 Days Gorilla Tracking Uganda Safari via Kigali begins with your arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, upon which you will be welcomed by our tour guide/driver who will brief you on the 3 day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda’s world famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home of more than half of all mountain gorillas alive on Earth. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After your early morning breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi, the tour guide/driver will transfer you to the park head quarters for pre-trek briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) officials. During the briefing, you will be informed about all the dos and don’ts of tracking mountain gorillas to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. You will be assigned tour guides with whom you will enter the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas. Once you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed up to one hour with them as you watch them go about their day. Use this time to take the best photos of these gorillas in their natural habitat. You will be given packed lunch from the lodge, which you will take during the gorilla trekking exercise. At the end of the 1 hour with the gorillas, you will head back to the park headquarters and be issued a Gorilla Trekking Certificate as proof of your participation in the gorilla trekking exercise.
In the afternoon, you will go on a guided community tour in Bwindi where you will witness first- hand the way of life of the local people in Bwindi. The locals will entertain you with their traditional songs and dances. You might want to come with some extra money to give to them, although that is totally up to you. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kigali Airport – Departure.
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi and then embark on a 4 hour journey back to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda for your departure flight back home or to your next destination. Depending on your flight time, you will be taken a tour of Kigali City where you will visit places such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Inema Arts Centre, Kimironko Market, Caplaki Craft Village among others. You will have lunch in Kigali and be transferred to the airport for your departure flight out.
